I'm a forty–ish wife, mother of two small boys (Butter & Boots), dog mother to LD (aka Little Dog) and Brogan (aka shit breathe, Dingledog and Doofy Jones) cat mom to Paddy and bearded dragon mom to Blaze and Flash. Yes, bearded dragon. How the FUCK, you ask? I ask myself too...often actually...cuz it was never my intent to own a reptile of any sort until having two boys (and a good husband). Not to generalize; BUT evidently males are down with reptiles...even my male clients say things like "how cools that? That's like having a mini dinosaur!" UMM, I GUESS BRO. Total phalic undertones if you ask me. I DIGRESS, this blog is a glimpse into my daily struggle (yeah it's daily) with becoming a teacher overnight (homeschooling) and being a mother of two boys in Quarantine. Someday I'll be able to get back to work as Hairstylist, but until then; this is my new job...and dammit if I don't make the best of it...or at least find the humor in it. Send help...vodka (with a mixer so I can't taste the vodka)...or candy. Chocolate preferably.
